Olympia London, which became the venue, is located along Kensington High Street, which is London's main street, and is in a good location with excellent access not only from the city but also from the suburbs of London. Natural light shines through the round dome ceiling, which was built in the 19th century, creating a classical atmosphere.

After sunset, the inside of the venue is illuminated, and the mood completely changes from daytime. Not only the younger generation likes subcultures such as anime and games, but also adult couples who want to watch live shows and go shopping visited and enjoyed the tour.

Strong sales with the highest number of exhibitors in the history of “Miyabi MIYABI”! Sold out items too

The elaborate world of bean books has fascinated many people.

This year, the largest number of exhibitors in the history of the “Miyabi MIYABI” pavilion set up booths and recorded strong sales! In particular, gift items that skillfully incorporated Japanese essences, such as gimmick postcards, washi accessories, hand towels, tableware, etc., were so popular that some items were sold out. Also, delicate art works that make use of Japanese dexterity, such as bean books, miniature art, and decorative buttons, were well received by families, and children were seen cheering while appreciating with a magnifying glass in one hand. There are many people who buy traditional Japanese crafts and daily necessities such as loincloths and kokeshi for their own use, and I was able to hear the strong curiosity of Londoners looking for something unusual and novel.

Many people stopped by the exhibition of contemporary calligraphy works.

Booths introducing content that have become an image icon of Japan, such as calligraphy, shamisen, and kimonos, also received a high level of attention, and were often crowded with people attending workshops and watching demonstrations. Their stage performance was also packed with many people, and it was such a big thank you that they stood and watched. The stage was watched by many repeat visitors, and the number of people mobilized increased with each passing round, and I was able to feel that the magnitude of the response spread out on the scene.
